The Nashua Garden Club invites gardeners and environmentalists to its March 4th program, Gardening in a Changing Climate, to be presented by Sherry Godlewski, Resilience and Adaptation Manager at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and member of several regional and statewide commissions including the governor's Climate Change Policy Task Force.  Gardeners are on the front line as witnesses to the changes in climate.  We've experienced later frosts, earlier planning times, heavier rain events and longer stretches of drought. Join Garden Club members on Wednesday, March 4th at 7 PM at the First Baptist Church, 121 Manchester Street, Nashua to get a brief look at the causes and impact of climate change and how we can adapt our growing strategies and habits to minimize our own impact on the climate and keep growing the plants that we enjoy.
